Michael S. Cole is an Associate Professor of Management at Texas Christian University’s Neeley School of Business. He received his Ph.D. in management from Auburn University, in 2003. He also received his Master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of Tulsa, in 1997. Prior to joining TCU, he was a Senior Research Fellow and Lecturer for the Institute for Leadership and Human Resource Management at the University of St. Gallen, in Switzerland.

His professional interests focus on multilevel theories, research, and methods as they relate to behavior in organizations. His research has appeared in the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, The Leadership Quarterly, Organizational Research Methods, Academy of Management Learning and Education, Academy of Management Perspectives, Applied Psychology: An International Review, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Human Relations, and Journal of Management Studies, among others.
